For winter enjoyment we have Sugarbush  Resort and Mad River Glen, two of New England's most well known ski  areas just minutes away.  The Mad River offers canoeing, kayaking, fly fishing and swimming.   Gliders soar over the valley.  Horse trips travel throughout our back  roads and trails.  The Appalachian and Long Trail offer breathtaking  hikes.  At night, there are a wide variety of  dining experiences, and nearby bars offer delicious micro-brews on  tap.  Or just stay in!  There are snowshoe and hiking trails right  outside your door. 

A 40 minute drive to the north will take  you to Stowe and to the south to Killington ski area.  Or perhaps you  prefer the quiet pastoral views of Blueberry Lake and Ole's cross  country ski areas.  In the summer enjoy Sugarbush Resort's  spectacular 18 hole golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.
