This cabin comes with comfy furnishings, a great kitchen with large breakfast/entertainment bar, and open living/dining areas. The interior of this home has a ton of natural materials, including beautiful woodwork all over the place. You will love the large deck, and the porch swing view of the peaks. Linens, towels, trash bags and dish/hand soap are provided. You will need to bring your own toiletries and food.

Deer, elk, and turkeys are frequently the neighborhood. The five-acre property looks and feels like a thousand as you look from the deck across the pond at the expanse of Big Horn Sheep canyon and mountains to the north, and the Sangre De Cristo mountains to the south. Take in the sounds of Cherry Creek flowing down from the mountains. Swim in the pond or sunbathe in privacy on the deck.

Star Mesa is three miles from the Arkansas River, and a 15-mile drive from Salida and all of its charming amenities, restaurants, galleries, hot springs, world-class boating and fishing. Monarch Ski Area is a 40-minute drive. Bring your bikes, boots, horse, skis, or some good books and a yoga mat. There are supermarkets in Canyon City, Salida and a small grocery in Howard.
