The Vintage Sea Captain Home, part of a two family compound, was built in 1840 and was home to Captain Kelley. Close to the Harwich Port and Cape Cod where you will find beautiful beaches, many unique boutiques and fabulous restaurants.
This beautiful home has many extraordinary antiques including an antique black Franklin stove and a cranberry sifter. There are 3 bedrooms upstairs and a guest suite downstairs with a kitchenette. For outside dining there is a lovely screened porch area which gives view to the perennial garden. A barn in back contains bikes, beach chairs and lawn games like bocce to be enjoyed in the back yard. The kitchen is large and there are comfortable dining and living areas.
This house is nicely located with easy access to the village or the beach. Nearby you will find Flax Pond where you can enjoy fishing and paddling. The Harwich Port is also only miles away. For your convenience, there is a Dunkin Donuts and CVS very close by.
Harwich, with its unique architecture, has 7 villages where you will find many different boutiques, antique shops and galleries. Take a scenic bike ride along the historical Cape Cod Rail Trail or stroll through the heritage museums and gardens. Within nearby Cape Cod there are whale watching tours, windsurfing, boating, fishing, and 559.6 miles of gorgeous coastline to enjoy.
