Enjoy the deer, blue heron, sea turtles and other wildlife found on the island. Visit Bohicket Marina and Yacht Club and rent a boat to water-ski or wakeboard. Perhaps you would like to take it slower and kayak or canoe the surrounding lagoons. Charter an offshore fishing boat and try your luck at catching marlin, king mackerel, or shark. Visit the nearby Freshfields Village where you will find fresh vegetables, fruits, boutiques, restaurants, and pottery making demonstrations. FreshFields Village also offers entertainment such as rock and blues concerts, or watch a movie under the stars. Take the family to Night Heron Park where you will find arts and crafts, ice cream socials, Safari night, and Holiday Festivals. Those with children may want to enroll your kids in Kamp Kiawah for ages 3-11 years old. At Kamp Kiawah they will play games, arts and crafts, and much more.
