The many sounds of the country play in your ears at this retreat, from the peacefulness of the breeze blowing through the treetops in the surrounding redwoods, the running water in Mill Creek (with wonderful swimming hole), and the many birds calling in the trees.

The inside of the house is like a true redwood cabin, with lots of woods and wonderful windows to take in the backyard and creek views. The home accommodates eight adults and three children and is truly special. The living room is cozy and is a great place to relax and visit with friends and family. The kitchen has a great view. The bedrooms offer great bedding.

As you look around the property you will not at first notice all the many separate and private areas the owner has created for you, from the Japanese Garden off the master bedroom, the meditation gazebo near the creek, several decks and sitting areas at the creek, a large brick BBQ area, hammocks, umbrellas, tables, and games. The lawn covers the entire back of the property from the house to the creek -- it is so beautiful. And as a bonus, there is a hot tub and deck that overlooks another part of the creek, with redwoods towering above.

This is wine tasting territory. Enjoy the fascinating wineries. There is also fantastic dining, and gourmet sampling. This area offers beautiful countryside and many tours and sightseeing events. There is golf and other outdoor sports including fishing and canoeing.
