The house is right by the start of the bike and walking trail to Tahoe City. It is only a short distance to the public beach at Skylandia and Bristlecone. There is a wonderful hiking area just across the street and the nordic center is only about two blocks away.

For those who enjoy the outdoors and sports there are tennis courts, golf courses, snowmobiling and skiing. There is also boating, jet skiing, fishing, swimming, and rafting for water lovers. You can enjoy biking, hiking, and horseback riding. If you just want to relax, there is also shopping, sightseeing, and great restaurants. There is also a movie theater and miniature golf nearby!
