Morning Star has a spacious great room floor plan. Cathedral ceilings, exposed log walls, and rustic furnishings blend naturally into the log cabin setting. Become mesmerized by the light of the 4-sided gas fireplace with slate sitting hearth and river rock chimney that soars through the center of the cabin. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped.  Up the tall exposed log staircase is the Loft, a fun entertainment room with foosball table, TV/VCR, and Sega Genesis. A 200 square foot deck off the kitchen houses the hot tub and gas BBQ grill. An additional elongated back deck off the great room and open covered front porch makes the most of the serene setting.

The winter season not only boasts spectacular ski conditions, but an array activities, festivals, and ski/snowboard competitions. Take a day off skiing and snowboarding and try out snowmobiling, ice skating, snowshoeing, cross country skiing, sleigh rides, sledding, tubing, a massage, or watch the snow fall from the hot tub. In summer, most of Breckenridge's guests stay outdoors from sunrise to sunset, whether playing golf or tennis, sightseeing, mountain biking, river rafting, fishing, horsebackriding or even glacading on a mountain glacier. Downtown presents a full calendar of outdoor summer festivals along with galleries, specialty shops, restaurants, bistros, bars and nightlife.

Go ice-skating on Maggie Pond or in the Breckenridge year-round rink. Rent a bike or roller blades. There is also skiing /snowboarding at Breckenridge Ski Area. Go shopping at specialty stores or at the Silverthorne/Dillon outlet malls. You can also go on a horse drawn sleigh/carriage ride. There is also snowmobiling, movie theaters,horseback riding, whitewater rafting, or fishing.
