Located in one of the most desired areas of Cape San Blas, the Secluded Dunes Community, Alta Vista features 160 feet of the same very private beach which was voted number one by Dr. Beach. The views of the Gulf of Mexico and the St. Joseph State Park are unbelievable.

This part of the Cape faces the west. The sunsets from the deck with its love seats and porch swing or from the outdoor dining area, which is screened, are amazing. Beach chairs are provided. There is a shuffle board court under the house alongside a covered play/parking area.

The tide here is usually low, making Cape San Blas perfect for swimming. A 2500-acre beach park is located on the St. Joseph Peninsula and offers snorkeling, diving, fishing, boating, and sea kayaking. For those who are physically fit, there is a six-mile sand-hiking trail through the St. Joseph Peninsula State Park to the northern tip of Cape San Blas.
